Konica scan to email / 3rd part apps access

Guess we will be getting a lot of calls from customers who use the free gmail scan to email option when it suddenly stops working. For that feature to work , as we all are aware, allow access to 3rd part apps must be enabled.

Google will soon stop allowing that:

"To help keep your account secure, starting May 30, 2022, Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password."
