I'm working on this 7145,w/df318.
I get J63-2's intermittently.
I've replaced the convey roller/R and torque lim/A.
Is it the exit sensor or df board?
Can someone shed some light?

Thanks.:confused::mad::confused:

There are two torque limiters in the back, replace em both -- also there are two one way gears, big one and a smaller one. Pull them off, clean the shafts really well, and clean the inside of the one way with some alcohol. On the black guide that you pull up to remove jams, on both ends - put a few 4-5 winds of electrical tape. (you will have to cut it down to almost 1/3 of the normal width) -- also check your ADF height by opening top white cover and the white arrow should be pointing to the middle guide mark...

also, lift doc feeder up, drop down the book cover with the green handle, and open up the bottom (simply pull on the handle, this opens the guide area up) look on the metal plate you just uncovered, there are little mylars... those little buggers get all crudded up, should work if you need to trim one down / yank it out completely.

Hope this helped :cool:
