Minolti DI 450 / PI5501

Have a new customer that wants to hook up his DI450 to use as a printer and scanner, with a PI5501.

Will the PI5501 run on Windows XP or is he limited to something older?

yes...it will work with windows xp. Set up the printer port as LPR and the queue name is PORT1

One other question. Can that be set up wireless, through their router, or does it have to be hard wired?

hard wired, unless you use a wireless bridge. You can use the above ^^ LPR port or raw port 10001.

scanning on those machines suck, so good luck with scanning. I have told our customers we now longer support scanning on that model, because it's so old.
