Any loud noises associated with the code? Maybe check the bulletin in this thread:

seen this on a few newish I-series machines and this specific post was the fix for me. direct link below:

i series toner backup (copytechnet.com) (https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/konica-minolta/164683-i-series-toner-backup.html#post2126308)

"That code is related to the arm on the bottom left where the box goes not returning fast enough. Extra turn on its return spring cures that."

Take the sensor out from the waste box area on the left and bend the spring. Its too weak. Cures it everytime. There is a bulletin on this. I just did this the other day. You may notice the lever is slow .

Forgot about that arm. That should get you back up and running. We did have one machine with this issue about a month ago that had slipped my mind. Spring had completely popped off the arm and was giving that error. I'm sure with the number of I-series we have out there that there will be more.
