I cleaned T2 and now want to reset DIPsw 3-1 from 1-0. I've done this over a year ago but I cannot remember how to get in service mode with C-3905. I remember it involved access key but don't remember procedure. Stop 00 Stop 01 alone does nothing. Any help?

Quite sure you need to be on the utility screen to do the stop 00 stop 01 procedure if you meant that. Or it was Menu -> Stop 00 Stop 01

Been working on it a little over a year now. I am in utility screen. Stop 0-0 Stop 0-1 does nothing on the C-3905. It is a safety lock out and takes another procedure to get in service mode but I don't remember exactly what it was. I had it wrote down but paper is gone. I know it involved access key but I've tried every combination I can think of and nothing.

turn off the machine, leave the utility counter key pressed, turn on the machine with the key pressed and you should enter

Thank you romario. This did the trick. Reset DIP and all is well. Been printing for awhile now.
