does anyone have any instructions on how to change the Main menu background on a C658?

Usual procedure i guess.
1. Make File (png)
2. Go to Administrator -> Customize System Screen -> Register new Wallpaper
3. Profit

i have found out how to register ( admin - customer display - register ) but when i try to register it says cannot register?

Main menu is just a .png and can be done with almost any image manipulation programm.
For registering, please refer to the user manual: Fabian's cloud

so i have created a file within the correct specs below but when i try to register it, it says it cannot find the registered file???

i have also tried it as a PNG and JPEG file type

An image that can be registered as a theme of the main menu must be configured according to the following specifications.

• File type: PNG, JPEG
  
• File size: 1.5 MB or less
  
• Display size: Width 1024 pixels or less, Height 768 pixels or less
  An image is reduced to the size shown below at the time of registration while the aspect ratio of the original image remains unchanged.
  bizhub C658/C558/C458: Width 1024 pixels, Height 600 pixels
  bizhub C368/C308/C258: Width 800 pixels, Height 480 pixels

Try a different USB Device and be sure to use the USB port on the side of the display. File must be in root dir of USB too

Agree, thumb drive also need to br FAT32 formated.

Any FAT File System works.

managed to get it on guys thank you! made the file a bit smaller
