It's been just cutting itself off overnight. This morning it was off, we shut off main switch and then tried to power on and I get a tenth of a second PLEASE WAIT on the screen and I hear a click and machine powers off. We've determined the clicking noise is coming from the lowest board at bottom of main box. I suspect we have an issue with this board. Not sure if it is a power supply but that is where the clicking noise is coming from. Part no A0G6M45200. What say you, our community of more experienced techs?

This is a bit old but all I could find .
Problem
No power or erratic operaton.
Solution
CAUSE: The Noise Filter (NF3) has failed due to contact with metal mounting surface. Board supports
that are too short were used and the height does not allow enough clearance.
SOLUTION: Replace NF3 (p/n A0G6 M454 00) and install longer board supports. The part number in
the current Parts Manual (June 2009) is incorrect for the Noise Filter board support.
[Incorrect] V502 0100 14 => [Correct] V502 0100 16
Note: The part number for the supports will be updated in the next Parts Manual release.

Is this compnent located on the dc power supply board or elsewhere? DC board pt number ends in 45200 and noise filter ends in 45400.

Its elsewhere. Follow the power cord into the machine. There is a board with big inductor coils on it.

Had power sub power switches go bad on these. Could be the supply. Did you keep the doors open and the ADU drawn out when powering on?

1051 has 3 powers supplies. Power supply 2 which is in the bottom middle of the back of the machine (figure 14). Power Supply 1 is located in the lower left corner (figure 15). Power supply 3 is just to the right of power supply 2 (Figure 12). Good luck figuring out which one is giving you grief. Power Supply 2 is most notorious for failing historically. The clicking you are hearing is most likely the relay shutting off.

Noise filter 3 is item 4 in this picture.

No. 2 is what we sent off to Hytec. Prepared to send off 3 next for noise filter replacement.

It's Alive! Thank you for your input. It was power supply number 2, the one we guessed it was. Hytec repaired and we got it back today. Installed and back to normal. Hytec said there were several failed solder points that had to be redone. Nothing really major. Worth the $260 they charged.
