I don't have the jam code, but machine jams intermittently after anywhere between 10 and 100 pages right past registration sensor. It will have about inch of print on it.
Probably a clutch causing this. I just don't know which one(s). Thinking the clutches on the feed rollers and or feed assembly clutch. They only use upper paper drawer.

Go back and get the jam code. Its probably J3003. Then that would be the registration clutch, bushings and probably the rollers on the sincro unit.
Meter reading on the machine?

These machines are super easy and predictable. If the machine is over 500K those registration bushings and rollers are causing the clutch to fail. Take a clutch and at least some bushings with you. Feed rollers, feed clutches and a spare relay clutch for J2002 would not be good for the ride as well. I carry them as boot stock.

Second this. J9901 and 3003 are usually reg bushings and clutch on these models and occur more frequently out of Tray 1. Other trays usually have enough force carrying it by the time it reaches registration that it doesn't jam.
4 Bushings and clutch are available from KM as of a month ago, last time I ordered

If 150k or less on meter I always just spray the reg clutch with electronic cleaner and then canned air. With clutch on machine, no need to remove. Lube the reg roller bushings and should be good to go. Never had to replace clutch but maybe one time.

depending on copy count the registration flag could be worn down causing the jam
