C1060L Fuser Lamp

I have a C1060L needing an upper fuser lamp assembly. I don't currently have one and the earliest I can possibly get one is by Tuesday 9/27. I do have a lamp that goes in a C2060. I was wondering if I could use that one while I wait for the correct lamp to come in or if it'll mess anything up.

The numbers are similar ... not the same. You probably will not do any harm, but it may give you fuser codes if it doesn't warm up fast enough or if it can't maintain temperature.

Here's an example. I got a call from another tech that was working on a bizhub PRESS1100. He had discovered a blown heat lamp and was wondering if I had one. I only had a set of lamps for the PRESS1052 which are slightly lower wattage. We crimped on new connectors and it powered up. But on long runs, the machine would go back into warmup for 5 to 10 minutes, then resume copying. It was certainly an inconvenience, but better than a down machine. =^..^=

I have apart and all the markings look the same on both units. Just the ceramic ends on the C2060 lamp are slightly bigger.

Are there any wattage markings on either?

You should be able to take the lamp assy and the holder brackets (as long as the connectors fit).

The 2060 lamps are 3 watts higher

What is total power wattage for the lamp?
I think if you can fit it physically only 3w difference will not affect anything.

I agree. The 3W difference should be insignificant. =^..^=
