Does anyone know how to replace one of these things? The customer somehow managed to break it in half, and I really don't feel like spending 3 hours replacing the whole eject unit.

It's 62 minutes, and that's what you'll need to do. You'll get better with practice. =^..^=

It was easier than I remembered. It's been at least 3 years since I've had to do it, and it doesn't help that they refuse to put it in the manual.

The options are never covered as well as the base machine. Whomever makes the options never gives any real thought to making them maintainable. =^..^=

I'm not trying to highjack your post, but is there an actual written procedure anywhere to remove that ejector unit? I i may have to replace that same part on a FS-537 and it seems to be impossible to find directions on how to replace it.

replacing that individual part is a bigger job than replacing the eject unit anyway unless you have small surgeon spec hands to work on it in situ its coming out anyway. Plus practice makes perfect as already mentioned it takes no where near 3 hours once you're familiar.
