Good morning, I have noticed that there are some C368 series that it is possible to disable the password prompt when entering service mode. But there are others that do not, the corresponding button is blank. Does anyone know how to enable this button to make it ask for the password or not?
Thanks.

With the same FW I get different results. It's probably a dip switch.

Could be. Or is it maybe HDD not installed?

I know, the thing is that sometimes that key appears and sometimes it doesn't, that's the reason for my question.

Just FYI this is easy to find if you have the service manual and search for CE Password. Open service manual in browser and press ctrl + F to open search

Imho it's always bad idea to disable CE password. For example tech can't setup remote panel.
Better change it to something short if you're constantly tired to input default but leave it.

There is almost no scenario where disabling the CE Password is like a good idea. Realy, there is no world where this is good.
