Bizhub C300i cant send data on SMB and FTP scans

Have windows 10 pcs. Tried to configure scanning through SMB but couldnt get it through. Configured FTP Scan as an alternative but it stop working after a week? Am I missing something?

never really set up FTP, but what was the error with SMB?

i would make sure the DNS settings are correct and also check the SMB version your machine is using

Guessing that you are using Filezilla and the PC gets shtu down every evening:

Set Filezilla to delayed start in Services under Windows. Also disable Fast Boot.

check the firewall and any anti-virus/malware programs. Make sure you have enabled the exception for smb or the ftp program. Generally if something is blocking the ftp, such as Norton or McAfee, it will try to send but eventually time out

We upgraded a customer recently from a C284e to the 250i and couldnt get the scan to folder (SMB) to work until all PC's were setup with a local login and password. Then the address book setup to match.
