I have a customer with a Bizhub C284e that has recently upgraded to Windows Server 2022. Of course there are no drivers available for server 2022 and earlier drivers are not working. He was told by tech support that he needed to install some sort of role for the server but he doesn't remember what it was called.

Any ideas what he is talking about?

He is using account tracking just to make things more interesting.

Thanks

the printer port can be set to the IP on each workstation instead of a share.
nobody told them to upgrade their print server without checking compatibility of all the network peripherals first.
not your problem however changing the port on all the computers to the IP and port 9100 will fix this and it wont affect accounttrack.
you can lock the code in the individual driver or have it popup to ask.
a bit of a time killer but again, not your monkey or circus.

It's one of those "career college". Probably has 30 computers, all locked down with admin credentials required.
His old server crashed, that's why he upgraded.

they use account track, the uni driver does not have a place to enter the code if i recall.
