Bizhub C3350i C-5372 CPU temperature errors

As the title says, I have had multiple C3350i machines with C-5372 codes. KM has no knowledge of this for this model, however the A3 size I series has a known solution that a firmware update fixes the machine. Replacing the CPU board seems to be the fix for it. The customer also uses a 3rd party management software called LRS, and I have been advised not to go beyond E9 firmware because of compatibility issues. I can probably load the latest special version of the E9 firmware, and that might fix it. Was wondering if anyone else has been running into this issue. Just looking at the part number on the box, seems like there have been a few revisions to the CPU board. The last time I tried this, KM had sent me a faulty CPU board, or perhaps a repaired or cleansed board. I am seriously beginning to dislike this model of machine. Too many issues. Any insights would be appreciated.

We have had a few of these codes pop up and we have just been replacing the cpu board fan (fm3) and it seems to resolve the issue. This goes for all the iseries a4 copiers/printers. The problem is Konica doesn't offer the part by itself. You have to order the cpu board assy. We have been able to get some fans from damaged machines in the past and replace when we get this code. So far so good plus you avoid having to reload firmware and all that jazz.

And all that funk for a crappy fan which cannot be ordered separately...
I've heard some stories major KM dealers have dropped KM and switched to another brands due to iseries A4 mfps being questionable at best. Not wondering why.

Yes we tried replacing the fan on a few of these pos's but the error came back and ultimately had to replace the CPU board. I wonder if this has something to do with the fan noise reduction? Because we have older machines in this series, original release, with no issues whatsoever after 3+ years and yet we have had 5 machines now in the past 3-6 months with this problem cropping up. Or its one of the reliability improvements \:
