I have a strange fault on a C500. The ADU unit appears to have dropped slightly on the R/H side. The botton R/H guide plate of the ADU has started to cut a groove in the machine frame due to this. The bypass lift motor coupling is also not correctly engaging the lift dog on the bypass lift assembly so either the tray will not rise (as there is no drive) or it will just lift and drop down due to intermittant engagement of the coupling.

All I can think of here is that there is a problem with the R/H ADU guide rail.

I have a set of ADU guide rails left and right to try and resolve the fault, however I'm not sure until I remove the ADU if this is the problem.

Has anyone heard of this problem and are the rails difficult to change or does anyone else have any ideas.

Thanks
