Hello, I have the same problem with this machine, i've changed the black image unit, and i get the error C-255C during the adjust process. It has been tested with two new image units and the problem continues.
Did you solved this problem??

What can cause the machine to display a C255C code even after replacing the PRCB, Black IU and confirming drive to the Black IU?

Solution
A C255C code may be displayed even after replacing the PRCB, Black IU and confirming drive to the Black IU if the MFPB has failed. Please replace the
MFPB (p/n A02E H341 05) for the C353 or (p/n A02E H34205) for the C253/C203.

Silly question but have you made sure there is toner in the toner cartridge? May be worth replacing black toner cart...
