i have a bizzare problem on a windows XP machine that has had SP3 applied.
the customer uses account track on thier printer and now if they produce a new document in indesign it authenticates and prints ok but if they try to print an old indesign document the machine drops the job as not authenticated
the customer has patched InDesign with all available patches for CS2 and are still getting the same problem. Have also tried using full authentication rather than account track and it is still the same, even if you try to log on as a public user.
The problem is definitely at the computer end because if you select the authentication through printer preferences, come out and then go back in without printing the option is unchecked again. So the driver appears to lose the setting even though it has been applied.
