hello there! i have a problem on konica 7033. intermittent vertical lines on copies increases as the copying continue with half high background on copies. I have cleaned mirrors on laser assy , charge/ transfer/separation assy, corona wires, etc. I tried to output internal test prints, still problem occurs. So, i set aside that Scanning is not the problem.
other symptoms is the copy is enlarge or elongated on part. I clean the developer clutch for the suspicion that the developer intermittent slows down.
at first the machine will copy clean. but as you contunue copying vertical lines appears (front to rear).(not lead to trail edge), from few to many until it produces the whole page with line accompanied by high background.

Here is the link for copy samples:

Hi the front door switch can cause issues if it has poor contacts over time.:)

i think its the polygon motor that has the problem. its because one of its tiny rectangular mirror inside is partly deteriorated and the copy output becomes elongated or enlarged. (intermittent). I don't know if i can buy the polygon motor only or if not, i have to look for the whole laser assembly.

clean or replace the ozone filters. They are usually filthy and cause the machine to overheat. Easy way to tell is do single copies and they should be ok. Then do a run of around 100 your copies shoild get gradually worse.

Hello everybody! I have already solved this problem. I replaced the polygon motor assembly with its polygon motor drive board.
