We've started using PullPrint on C253 & C451 MFDs and are getting this message each time we print.

It appears immediately after hitting the Start button to begin a print out.

The exact message is:
The printer is printing the following document
[Document Name]
Press OK to continue!

Apart from being an extra button press when printing, the screen locks the interface until the “ok” button is pressed - that is, you cannot log out if the ok screen is active. This becomes a security risk because documents can be reprinted if the user does not log out.

Has anyone found a way of turning this screen off or getting around it? It seems completely superfluous.

Thanks,

David

I would remove the software and just install the drivers.
Hidden monitor software sells the idea of always knowing and controlling how to print.
If it is a color machine, load the driver and default it to b/w.

Opps, sorry to clarify, this is on the console screen of the MFD not driver software.

Our Konica Minolta contacts have said it's not possible to remove the OK screen (given it would be an API change) but surly other companies have worked around this issue.... somehow!

Thanks

Try altering the offset, collate, sort settings.
this has happened before when copying, the user needs to "confirm" the request for copy.

It is either the above settings, or the above settings and firmware/softswitch.
