BROTHER HL2700CN Laser printer

I have an error E1 problem with this printer. I belive it is a Beam Error problem and the user manual just says "Turn off and On" but it does not clear it. I have checked inside for any obvious problems and the laser beam does not seem to be obstructed with any contamination. Any guidance would be much appreciated Thanks

If the error says it's something wrong with the laser AND if it's not cleared after turning off/on you'll need to replace the laser assy.

This machine is unreliable crap so I wouldn't recommend to repair it unless it's a warranty case.
