Anybody know what error code sc45-20 just got sc45-10 cleaned the sensors then whil it was adjusting error sc45-20 came up is there a reset code

Its related to Transfer belt

Its usually a slight stretch on a new transfer belt???


Try this......

Go into Service mode 36 > Image Adjustment > Timing Adjustments > Auto. color registration adjustment

Hit start

[kmcopytech]

registration correction results in abnormality.

1\clean registration sensor PS8/9 and laser correction HP sensor PS5;
2\PRDB.

Your right again auslander, I remembered this routine yesterday about an hour after I posted and did exactly that, worked like a charm. (We just had a pm done about 2 weeks ago) My bad, I was fixing a photo printer in the same building for another customer, running to and fro and could not remember what printer I was working on.

Thanks I did that first thats when this happened so I had to do an auto color adjustment and that worked.

No worries mate!!

This problem is quite common on the C500, maybe a day or so after the transfer belt has been changed (PM etc) the parameters of the Auto. color registration change due to a slight stretch on the belt.

Running Auto Colour Registration usually sets the belt up again.

This can also happen on the C6500 as well but is less common compared to the C500.
