What's up with this SC23-09  I've replaced the transfer belt, everything seems to be turning alright. I've cleaned the encoder disk and sensors with a blower brush. I was thinking about replacing the motor, but that's really just a shot in the dark, and it looks like a big job.:(
Anyone got any other ideas before I get shotgunning this thing?

Thanks

SC23-09 that code is not on the C6500 list (v 3.0).....

most C23xx codes relate to fans..... why would you suspect motor encoder or sensors???

Are you talking about a C6500 or C500?????

C500 use SCxx-xx codes
C6500 use C-xxxx codes

Sorry about that, I was talking about a C500. I haven't seen this problem before. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks for any help.
Maybe I'll start a new tread labled C500.

Has there been any SC45-20 in the history lately?

Have you checked that the Tx cleaning blade Assy is not packed up with waste? this might be slowing down the belt and motor?

Is the coupling shaft on TX belt unit bent/warped?

Have you tried a Tx Belt unit from another m/c for testing.

Try running belt motor in I/O 47 mode .... code 49-00 does it turn with out code?

Try running Tx motor with out Tx belt unit..... any change?

then try running motor with Tx belt unit in machine

Try running the Tx belt in I/O with out cleaning assy

Does everything look smooth? any noise?
