Hello, i have a question for yours, I have a Ricoh 4100 and need to extract a few forms that loaded on the hard disk, since I can do? Since extracting the disc and connecting it usb it indicates me that there is space in use but shows it to me in white. More thanks. - Alejandro

Hi,

I have worked on Ricoh Equipment for 20 Years and have never seen any information about the disk structure in any documentation.

I know most Ricoh machines are netBSD based but the disk does not seem to have a file system as such and I do not know what format the files are stored in. It is possible that it uses an internal compressed file type to save space but who knows?

I do not think it is possible to remove files from the disk with options like the document server we have been told to keep the original document as a backup:)

I did once try making an image of a disk using dd in Linux then used strings to find any information about the format but nothing helpful sorry.
