For the electronics experts - 7075 DCPS

    Hello there, guys and gals!

I just got this problem on a Konica 7075 (equivalent to a Minolta Di750):

DESCRIPTION: J71-01, with the DF313 and the FS108 initializing several times before finding home position.
    CAUSE: A failed DCPS2.
    SOLUTION: Replace the DCPS2 (p/n 55VB84520).

I replaced said DCPS from another 7075 and the problem got away. I now have a damaged DCPS, which I'm wondering if it is possible to repair.

Anyone here ever had any success repairing these power supplies related to this problem?

    Cheers!

Forget the post above - I just learned that, at least in the EU, it is forbidden to repair Power Supplies. Moderators, you can lock/erase this thread at will.

I don't know, because I was just told by my boss - and I doubt that he wouldn't tell me that if we could just do it and save some bucks.

But I'll ask him monday, if I remember.

        Cheers!

Check connectors pins soldering, especially the CN75.
