hi all,
In rexrotary Afi2865 equalent to Ricoh afi650, toner not getting added automatically. Developer is new. TD and ID values are normal (2.67V & 4.03V). ID sensor is new. if toner supply mode is set in pixelcount also there is no response. Any ideas?

Does the toner bottle motor turn the toner bottle when it tries to add?? if so is there any toner in the toner hopper? too much will bind the hopper and the add toner clutch will not be able to drive the hopper shaft. Or the add toner clutch may be failing.

toner bottle motor and clutch works when i checked adding toner manually. toner quantity in the hopper is average and augour is free to rotate. and m/c doesn't give add toner symbol.

is this a low volume machine ? if so there is a bulletin from Ricoh on setting changes for light copies. otherwise you may be lookin @ the BCU pcb. these units should be running at least 20k/mo. Also if vsg is 4.03 what aws vsp??
