I don't have anyway to contact my original tech who setup my machine. I am trying to network my copier, but I need to be able to get in my admin. setup on the copier. It needs a password and I don't know what it is. I tried to use Firey.1, but it didn't work. Is there any other way I recover the password or reset it?

Hi, usually your default is all 0's have info on k/m 2230 when you get in you have to fight 2 get "copytrack" to off. i'm not sure but i think if you "re-initialize" from the svc pcb (short two" in " pins and while holding both service buttons down, turn the bx on hold everything for 10 sec or so you should get a "re-init cmplete" message. has been awhile but this wks for the older k/m colors. let us know what you found pls.

12345678 is the default password for admin settings on the copier!If it has changed then you will need a tech to call and reset it for you!...SiComment
