I Didnīt understand, Bands in Mainscan Direction or Subscan Direction?. Send a Test Pattern Image. Ok in Subscan Direction, Check Development Unit, Dust Proft Filter And Transfer Belt when Bands is the same for all Colors. In Mainscan Direction check the Second Transfer.

possible dev unit failure lower the density for test print to about 100 and on test pattern 1 do a print for each colour seperately to find true nature of problem this will best pick up any failure in individual colours.

wich is the better way to clean the grids and charge wire?
can you use the grids from C500,8050? or from 6501?

To me, the grids from the C500/8050 are far better than the original ones from the C6500 - I don't know if they are still the same or if KM changed them already, since I stopped servicing these machines a while ago.

So, if things are the same, the coronas from the C500/8050 (gold-colored) are better than the C6500 ones (silver-colored).

I agree. They seem to stand up better over time, and sometimes can go beyond the life period on the 6500s. The grids can be ordered still.

More resistance, but you must clean them for reuse, get your accounts, both work the same, should clean or replace at the same time.

Ok, gold plated grids from 8050 can offer less stripes. I will see the cost.

What about silver grids from 6500/6501. Wich is the better way to clean them? Can you use a corona from 6500 to 6501 and vice versa? What are the different?

Wich is the better way to clean them? consult Katun system or be careful not to damage.

Featured as a deteriorating.

Yep, that's the problem with them silver-colored grids - even before they reach half of their estimated life.

I've heard that the C500 grids offer less image quality, but I never noticed any difference neither did any of my customers at the time, so I think it's bs.

I'm surprised that KM still keeps those crappy grids on their inventory list!

Ya the C6500 age badly. The C500 don't seem to rust away.
