Does anyone have a link to download an IC-304 PPD for Mac OS 10.4? Looked at the creo site, but just saw for IC-301 PPD.

Has anyone experienced problems sending files from Quark Express to the CREO? First, my paper settings send down incorrectly and when I finally get it to print, the images print very pixelated.

Any help would be great- THANKS

Thanks. Tried that, but only has c6501.ppd. I found an ic-301 PPD from Konica website- but not the 304, do you think it makes a difference?
I tried the IC-301 file, but when sending from Quark- the page sizes come out different. For example, I send as 12.5 x 17.5- but when it Rips, it sees the layout as 12.467 x 17.5 (which causes the job to fail). And the images look corrupted when printed. Do you think that is due to using the wrong PPD file?

Your help is much appreciated!

The IC304 is a Fiery controller, not a Creo.
Browse with your browser to the IP-adress of the controller. On the home page, there is a tab downloads, you will find the ppd there.
Good Luck,

Jantje, you are incorrect. The IC304 is the Creo for the C6500/C6501.
The IC303/IC305/IC408 are the Fiery controllers for this series.

The PPDs are on board on the Creo. Bring up the utilities from the webpage and use those PPDs. Don't bother trying to download them from the KMBS site, take them directly from the creo.

You have better results if you pull the Storage Queue Virtual printer from the creo to the MAC. Without opening the file, drop it into the virtual printer, them go to the Creo to set up the job. Don't try setting up the job from the MAC or any of its applications.

Hi Pal,

May I know what version of Creo are you using?

I got 2 PPD of both version 1 and 2. Let me know.

Great. Actually using Creo IKON 650 PRO Verison 1.1
Which is the same as the IC-304-
Using MAC OS 10.4

Quark 7.0

If you have the PPD's that would be great! Also, have you had experience ripping files from Quark to the CREO, if so, have you had any problems?

Hi Pal,

So far I got no issue using both PPD in a direct print to my Creo in both Version 1 and 2 from Quark to Freehand MX to Adobe CS3

However I do faced some "Fit to Page" using Mac OS X with Adobe Photoshop in CS3 with Version 2 of Creo.

Apparently my "Fit to Page" printed copies just could get it in the center of print no matter what steps I took. I suspect its the PPD issue. But PC Adobe CS3 don't pose such issue.

Wondering any of you got this issue?
:(
