I have a slight problem with my Di550 - I put an illegal character in a file name and now I can't download it with the Fiery tools (W2K). The character I put in the name was "/" and I have lost an important page from the original docs used for this scan - hence the need to rescue the file!
What I was trying to figure out was, is there a way to directly access the hard drive in the Pi6500e so one can either rename a file, or download it using an FTP client.
Directly putting in the printer IP address does not work - or am I missing using the correct Name and Password? It says nothing about this in the Quick Start Guide for the Pi6500e...
Thanks for any assistance - I even tried pulling out the hard drive and hooking it up with an IDE <-> USB but the drive was not recognized as a format that either my W2K or OSX machines could handle.
