Customer using heavy stock (257gsm) glossy paper thru byass using thick 4. When copies come out there is obvious scoring or roller impressions from exit idler rollers after fuser. Tried the paper on C350, works fine, tried on another C451, get scoring again. Told customer to purchase another brand which he did and the same result. Tecksupport has not seen this.
Can I assume the C451 cannot support the use of glossy paper of this weight. Has anyone run into this problem or maybe recommend brand of paper that works?
oh.. c350 better result ? did you try thick 3 and see. C350 only support thick3 only

Have had this and they all do it on different types of media as well.It is caused by the delivery rollers !You could try messing with those, but be carefull you dont cause other problems!...si

Does the machine have a finisher? If yes try to run without it.

The only official solution is to try lowering the heater roller temperature, however check for good fusing as you experiment.
