Greetings, the error code c3f90 seems to be linked to the error counter that reads tbase - any clues what to look for - cannot find any info in the manual

Try these:

DESCRIPTION: C3F90 displayed during warm-up.

CAUSE: The PC drum is not properly installed.

SOLUTION: Ensure that the PC drum is inserted fully into the machine. It may be necessary to rotate the drum slightly clockwise until it fully slides into place. To reset the C3F90 error message, perform the following:
1. Move the Transfer Unit handle (M4) to the right to lock it into place.
2. Remove the cover over the Tech. Rep Setting Switches Board.
3. Press switch S24 to reset the message.
4. Replace the plastic cover over the Tech. Rep Setting Switches Board.



C3F90 error message.

CAUSE: Transfer Unit handle (M4) is not locked into position when making a copy or printing. This may happen while a technician is servicing the 7823 with the door interlocks cheated.

SOLUTION: To reset the C3F90 error message, perform the following:
1. Move the Transfer Unit handle (M4) to the right to lock it into place.
2. Remove the cover over the Tech. Rep Setting Switches Board.
3. Press switch S24 to reset the message.
4. Replace the plastic cover over the Tech. Rep Setting Switches Board.

Well, that's an old machine. Good copy quality but a pain to maintain.

Did that solve your problem?

I'd like to go down there someday, but the money is short. :)

Great all functioning it did seem as though the m4 lever was not locating properly.
Which neck of the woods are you from

Europe. Just find the westernmost point in mainland Europe and I'll be about 180Km from there :p
