I was wondering if someone could help me diagnose what is wrong with my copier that it would be printing images like this:

I bought this copier from a friend a few years ago and know NOTHING. Any help is greatly appreciated!!! :) Thanks, Chelsea

I think it needs a doctor...too many pills!!

No seriously , the Magenta Image unit looks faulty or low on toner, can you print just test color sheets of each color and that should show the faulty area.

When I print solid Cyan & Magneta colors they print "thick" & fuzzy, could the imagining units be the reason for it?

ok if full on colours seem ok then it may dirt on the print heads!Other than than i would go with Imaging units! What do the prints look like when you print gradation patterns for each colour?

Actually one of the wheels broke off.... could that be causing it?

Broke from where?

I think the corner of the main machine (not the scanner). It happened when we moved, somehow it cut in half and fell off

The back right hand wheel is the one missing

If the printer part isn't sitting level, the developer in the image units might not be evenly distributed. Are you having a similar problem with the black ink as well? That's the one closest to the broken wheel, so it would probably be the one most affected if that's the issue.

Also, the base of the printer can be bolted to the scanner stand with the proper hardware. That would keep the printer from going off-balance in the future.

I will have to take a look at that. Honestly the only colors I have problems with are Magenta and Cyan. Black prints perfectly.
