KM3050 won't allow stapling on df710 finisher or use of tray A

Pretty new to kyocera stuff so have very little to draw on. The machine puts a message on the screen "cannot use this function" when you select tray A, which is the main tray on the finisher or if you select the staple mode. Every thing else is fine including hole punch. I have swopped the finisher for another same thing. Help

yeah had that problem before, run sim 906 and that should do the job.
