The official Web site of the state of Colorado, http://www.colorado.gov : http://www.colorado.gov , has been awarded fifth place nationally in the 2009 Best of the Web competition sponsored by the Center for Digital Government.“Receiving this award is a tremendous honor for the state of Colorado,” Governor Bill Ritter said. “We have worked hard to create a Web site for the citizens of Colorado that enables them to interact easily with state and local government via state-of-the-art services that are cost and time efficient for business, government, and citizens.” Many unique features in 2009 helped Colorado.gov achieve national recognition.
