View Full Version : can`t print document adobe photoshop (cs3) from macintosh os

dear all,

i`m new in this forum and still search solution for this problem. Maybe someone can help me to solve this problem.
In my office I use Ricoh MPC 2500 and in that macine has installed with ps3 card by technician. All user print document whitout problem because use windows xp.

my boss use macbook that use macintosh os. He use adobe photoshop cs3 to open photograph and edit that document. When my boss print document like office like word or excel and picture that open from other application, machine can print normally.
But when he print that document from adobe cs3, the machine printout codes that i don`t understand (machine code).

Does anyone can help me to solve this problem because my boss want to print picture from adobe cs3 ??
Does adobe cs3 need to configure if we print from macintosh??

What version of OS X are you using? Can you post the codes you are getting?
Yes you do need to configure cs3.
Download the ColorSync files here (http://ricoh-usa.com/downloads/downloads.asp?tsn=Ricoh-USA&path=http://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/rc2/model/mpc25/mpc25en.htm) (I assume you have the embedded controller not the EFI E-3000)
File menu, choose Color Settings>Profile Setup.
Add the ICC files you downloaded. All the check boxes for embed profile should be checked and set all to ask when opening.
Then setup RGB and CMYK defaults from file menu>colorsettings.
For RGB turn on both the Display Using Monitor Compensation and Preview options.
For CMYK the profile is final output copier ICC profile. Use built-in engine for photoshop. Intent should be set as perceptual. Check black point compensation. Let me know if you still have problems after doing the setup.
