customer complains that the blue data light flashes but there is no job being sent.they also say that at times during this flashing blue data light"at times" they cannot print to copier.now i have seen the flashing data light but have always been able to print to the copier . any ideas nec says they have never seen this.

does the machine have a fax? if yes than receiving a fax the data light will flash
how about sending a job to user box the light will also flash or a private print job. -

well there was a fax board on the 25c5 but we removed it.the blue light flashes and there is no job being sent.will remain flashing all day and night until power is shut down.Comment

make a capture with wireshark , we see that more on the NEC machine one of the pc,s starts sending data over TCP\IP to the NEC machine and this machine is showing that with blinking. the machine is sensetive for this. make then a ip filtering for that machineComment
