Did you reset the PC Life?

• Clear the PC Life counter before removing the IU.
• After clearing the PC Life counter, be sure to turn OFF the main power switch.

I saw the suggestion to replace the transfer roller and you replied "thanks." Does this mean that the transfer roller fixed it? If not, I would look hard at the fuser. Do the copies feel gritty to the touch or is it just visible?

try the copper leaf springs on the left of the right-hand door. poor contact.

we are assuming you cleaned glass behind laser flap ( accessed when drum unit out)

Had this same issue on a BH350 with over a million copies on it a couple of weeks ago. The copies actually had a grainy feel to them, you could rub the pages together and get a sandpaper sound with them. The problem turned out to be the High Voltage board (located under the black cover under the where the drum unit sits).

Also check to make sure all of the contacts to the drum unit are not bent/deformed. This can cause the same issue.

thanks for the info, this is good to know.
by the way, i have a BH350c color unit that has a problem with the black and only the black is blurred or what u might call out of focus, the 6 or 9 for example have shadowy inner circle? anything lik ethis happen to you?

Sounds like the usual problem with these units, a dirty led array. Give the black array a good clean (not with the cleaning rod) use IPA or the like, the easiest way is to remove the transfer belt and Image units to get a good go at cleaning.
