Has anyone ever tried it?

I have access to lots of C350 toner and have been thinking of trying to dump it into empty 8031 cart's but am wondering if that will be a big mistake????

The toner is different. Not advisable. the 8031 is an equivalent to the CF3102 and is an older generation print engine. You may not get the desired results and could end up making a mess of things.

You can try on one color at the time.If problem occurs you have to replace with original toner for 3102 and clean the C350 toner(by printing 100% density till the toner finish in the dev.cart.)(the toner isn't so different) :)

I used C350 toner in a Konica8020 (CF2002) - when I ran out of the original one - used at least 5 cartridges; worked just fine... Machines pretty similar - Imaging units, transfer belt, fuser - all quite alike.

I think I will give it a try since my main run of calendars for the year is done. The risk of a little cleaning is well worth the possibility of having a ton of free toner to use.

Can you share it with us? :p
