Hi,

I am not sure of the availalbe options to retrieve scans from the scan to hdd option. I was looking for a link from the machines web site but i can't find it there. I found an HDD TWAIN scanner software, but that does not work since its TWAIN and i was just looking for it to offer me the file format and location to save the scan.

The way I do it on other copiers (different models) is...

1. Go to website of machine
2. Click on Web Tools at the bottom of the page
3. Click on WebScans link
4. Type in the box number
5. Select the scanned doc from the list
6. Select the file format
7. Click Save and so forth.

I was looking for a solution as similar to this as possible. Thanks in advance.

yes I am using the IP511 Type A

I went to copiertalk.com and saw the post you linked to, when I paid for for the right to download it, i could no longer see the thread you posted, the error message stated that it did not exist.

I will attempt later today or tomorrow AM, in the meantime I am trying to use scantrip, but there is a charge for it, so a free solution sounds good to me.

Thanks so much.
