Brother MFC-9750 beeping on power-up and no display

Have a brother MFC9759 which was working fine until moved. Then when applying power it does not put any error mesage on the screen, but makes a beeping noise,for a few seconds then repeats this every 30 secs or so. I have not been able to download the service manual. All clues welcomed please.
