We have an account that keeps losing user box. We were told to replace hard drive, but that did not correct the problem. Has anyone had this problem, and know the fix? Thanks for any help.

Try updating the firmware of the machine.
User boxes don't simply vanish on their own. Someone has to be deleting the box.
Try password protecting the user box in question, and then in administrator, change the default administrator password to something else, for example, instead of 12345678 change it to 87654321.
