I have problem with my bizhub 250. C2557 appear when I replace the toner bottle. I check the ATDC, increase to 9%. I try to adjust the ATDC until 6 or 6.5%. But the problem still appear everytime the toner is empty. Confusing...
I will appreciate to all of you if you have the solution to this evil code.

Normaly TC ratio in this machine is 12% to 14%

I would bet that someone reset the drum counter on this machine, without a new drum. If you wish to be rid of the "Change PC Drum" message on the display, set your dip switches to turn off that message. Change 418-58 to 418-50, no more change the drum on display. But once you get the 2557 code, you have little choice but to replace the drum unit & developer. Ideally, this setting should be done at set-up.

I have been lucky several times in the past getting rid of that code by gradually increasing/decreasing TC ratio. Most of those machines where running after that with a TC ratio of 4.5-6% with ATDC set at 157-160. Its a hassle to do and can take more than half an hour but it worked surprisingly often. (The reason we had this happen is that we do mainly refurbs and our stock coming from the wholesaler and or previous techs had before swapped IU's obviously.)

Impossible man. TC ratio on bizhub 350/250 at around 5.5% - 6.5%. TC ratio 12 - 14% that you told are for Dialta Di2510 and Di3510. Not for bizhub 350/250.

OK, I'll check it. But, is the serial number in tech rep mode can make C2557? I don't get it.
Thank you.

Always works for me,a tip i picked up along the way. Saves money on new drum and developer but be sure to test a 100 or so before leaving the customer

for DI2510 = ATDC value is 155
for BIZ250 = ATDC value is 165-170

when you reset the drum on Biz250, it appears an error code (C2557). To avoid this, given that the drum may work even 30,000 copies, you decrease ATDC 5 and you do F8..La new value (ATDC) decreases troo many. You increase it by step to have a minimum value of 135..The copies will not become dirty after a hundred copies. You can not directly change and you are obliged to do so by step (value increased by 10% else C2557))

for your problem, do you try F8

it's easy for me to write in french, but in english is different...sorry

for DI2510 = ATDC normal value is 155
for BIZ250 = ATDC normal value is 165-170
when i reset drum counter (only BIZ250),you have an error code C2557 (maximal, after 47 copies). You reset counter drum (when you reset the drum ,it work during maximal=30 000 copies). After, don't forget to decrease ATDC value (maximal =5) and you make F8 (machine accept without message c2557 (because you change ATDC value before F8(it's very important)).Then you have ATDC value not very good ( value=119 for ex).You add less10% (119 is replace by 125).You make 50 copies (or 25 cop double side) and you continue for to have a minimal value =135. (else the copies become dirty after 100 copies)

for your problem, ATDC value is may be too limit (increase the value)

I'll be damned when I understand this....
