DESCRIPTION: F52-2 prior to the completion of warm-up. SOLUTION ID: 99,245

SOLUTION: CAUSE: CN33-B9 (control signal for the conveyance suction fan, FM4), located on the printer
driver board (PRDB), is not properly seated.
SOLUTION: To check the operation of the conveyance suction fan, perform the following:
1. Power the copier OFF (using sub power switch, SW2).
2. Access the 47 multimode (power the copier ON, while pressing the 4 and 7 keys), ouput code
42, press P-04-P.
3. Using a voltmeter (200V DC range), check the conveyance suction motor drive signal at
CN33-B9 on the PRDB, which is the 24V DC power origination point for actuation of the
conveyance suction fan. A reading of 24V DC should be measured when the fan is in the ON
mode and 0V DC should be measured when the fan is in the OFF mode.
4. If 0V DC is measured with the conveyance suction fan in the ON mode, power the copier OFF
(using sub power switch, SW2 and main power switch, SW1).
5. Remove CN33 from the PRDB.
6. Ensure that all the pins for CN33 on the PRDB are straight and properly aligned. Then inspect
CN33 on the wiring harness. Ensure that all the wires are properly attached to the connector.
7. Reseat CN33 on the PRDB.
8. If 24V DC is measured for a second and then it goes to 0V, check the fan connector (CN57).

This is what I found. Hope it helps
