Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the scanner of a KM-C3232E. When I plug the cable network, the network green LED lights up in turn and the scanner does not work. thank you for helping me.

What setup have you done? Hostname, IP address, reboot? Can you access the web interface? What type of scanning are you trying to do?

"...and the scanner does not work." What exactly is not working? I'll need a lot more information to be able to help. =^..^=

Push the Scanner button and try to select one of the scanning options. If it says "Cannot use scanner" then the scanner card isn't seeing the network. Other than that, try changing the IP address of the scanner. Does the printer connect ok? Try different cable, IP address. If all else fails, physically look at the pins on the network card. If the wrong one is bent in too far, then that could be the case.

It's worked before so IP adresse and hostname was entered. There is 3 led on network interface, Orange, Green-10 and Green-100. The 2 green is lighting (flashing one by one). So no comunication with scanner card. Even ping and web interface cannot be access.

Be sure to copy down all the scanner basic information. Simulation U504 will reset the scanner NIC. Then you can re-enter the scanner setup information.

You still haven't specified what kind of scanning isn't functioning. Do you know?

Are you aware that there are two NIC cards on the VoyagerE series machines? The printer NIC is behind the horizontal door over the multipurpose tray. The scanner NIC is located on the right side to the top rear. =^..^=

It may sound stupid but do you have the cable in the correct connector?

Yes everything is plugged in and I do U504. I even updated all firmeware but it is always the same. I know there is 2 network card on it and I know where to connect the scanner NIC. I saw the jumpers on the scanner card and now I want to reset the switch. how to do it, because in the technical manual there is no explanation.

you may just have BAD card or network cable. Is this connected to a router?
