As you probably already know, the CFxxx codes are secret engineering codes that you must forget the moment that you see it. This is an irritation with me, that Kyocera would use certain error messages then refuse to tell us what they mean.

I've never seen those specific codes associated with a TASKalfa. If this was a Falcon III the CF215 would be accessory firmware error, and CF46F would be a HDD image process error.

That's about all I've got. I hope it helps. =^..^=

CF215 occurred when the Start key was pressed after A5R original was set in DP, B4R was selected as media, AMS/B&W/automatic density were set in double copy.

The solution is in firmware version Firmware Version 07.01.0030 wich you already have i would try to firmware it agian

When a new version is submitted, the older firmware version is removed, or so I have been told. I keep all the versions (the ones I download anyway) in my computer. I haven't been in this business long, so my 500 series firmware only goes back to version 7. I plan on keeping as many of the older versions as possible. Ya never know when you might need it.

Just a few days ago Kyocera released v. 8.01A 03-01-10
Don't load anything before v. 5.0 (a lot of bugs were fixed in v. 5.0). There's 2.01, 3.0, 3.02, 3.04, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 6.03, 7.0, 7.01, 8.0, and now 8.01A

Personally I don't see any end in sight. =^..^=

When I had this error it turned out to be the 2GB memory.

I have v 10 on my memory stick. Suggest you update the firmware.
