    C3102 I can't delete the scan settings

    Hi there.
I have this C3102 with X3e that I just can't delete the old or make any new entries in the scan to ftp or scan to mail boxes.
It will allow me to delete them and create new entries, but after system restart everything is back to the old settings.
I tried even with factory reset, but no success.
    Any suggestions will be great.
    Thanks

Enable web services on the fiery.
Enter fiery web services by typing the copiers IP address in a browser on a local computer.
When the page comes up, click on "Scan".
From here you can select check boxes and push the "Delete" button.

    Hope this helps...

I have had this issue on two machines now and the problem was with either the NVRAM or the MFP board.

You can try the following to attempt to solve the issue.

      1. Reload Fiery system software.
      2. After reload is complete, turn Fiery off before (don't reboot it and go into the setup yet).
      3. Format the copier HDD (physical then logical).
      4. Turn on the Fiery and complete the setup process.
      5. Install all required patches for Fiery and reboot.
      6. Check to see if the old scanning data is back.

WARNING: Preforming the outlined procedure will erase any data that is kept on the copier HDD (such as info in the user boxes) and the Fiery HDD (free forms, printed jobs etc).

That was the procedure Konica Minolta has asked me to do previously, but it was in each case, NVRAM or the MFP board.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

        Thanks to both of you.
I'll try and post the results.
