hello

today a customer askd me to install the printerdriver (bizhub c6500 fiery vers.2.0)
i installed rosetta from the install DVD an then choose the printer from the Printer menu
i tried bonjour - ip but it doesent really works perfect- :confused:
the mac 10.4 and windows system works with no problem

does anybody have an idea.....

You will need to download the Snow Leopard (Mac OSX 10.6) driver from Konica Minolta. What you have on the DVD is quite possibly older drivers that will not work correctly with 10.6. You might even have to manually remove the driver files before installing the new one as this can also cause funny issues. There is the PPD in the en.lproj folder and from memory, there should also be a folder under printers relating to the Konica Minolta which will need to be removed.

I would also recommend using IP printing using the HP JetDirect Socket (RAW 9100) to print to this device. Either way, you will still need the correct driver in the first place.

I had the same problem i had a Pro 80 IC 305 Fiery i had to upgrade to 2.1v on the fiery and delete old drivers and printers reinstalled both new drivers and printers now it works.
