I'm having some challenges in with this machine skewing and shifting a scanned image.
If I copy a document, whether on the glass or through the ADF, the resulting image is nearly a perfect reproduction of the original. If I print something it's a great print.
However, the problem is when I scan a document (whether glass or ADF) to a network location. The resulting PDF document has been processed in such a way that the copy (pdf) is skewed and shifted from the original.
Interestingly enough, we've isolated the problem to the PDF creation because if we scan to the hard drive of the copier and then print from the user box (i.e. no pdf created, just data to HD and print from HD) the result is a near perfect reproduction. However, if you scan and simply select a network location as the destination, the resulting pdf document is messed up.
I am making the assumption that when scanning to the userbox that it is not saving it there as a pdf, but rather some other raw data format.
Any ideas?
