hello
i have a problem with a customer who used filemaker 11 on a C 353 he says always when he print a job the C253 block and he must to restart the copyer and Konicaminolta France says that they don't have any solutions at these time

There could be some kind of formatting issue with the software. It might not be an issue with the copier. Contact the company that makes filemaker, they might have a direct solution.

Also, two drivers are provided with this machine. The PS and the PCL driver. In most cases, if printing to the machine using one driver does not produce a desired effect such as incorrect font or image or colour, or in this case, locking up the machine, try the other driver.

Also, make sure the firmware is up to date. That may correct any possible problems.

And the print driver being used, is it set up as a stand alone on the PC being printed from, or is it a shared resource from a server? I prefer client side as opposed to server in most cases. And how was the port set up on the driver? Is it using RAW 9100 with SNMP enabled? If not, change it to be that. And also ensure the driver options are set correctly to what the machine has. Is the machine's IP and DNS tables set correctly?

And failing all that, the short term solution would be to print the document out as a PDF or (vista/win7) XPS file and then print to the machine in that format.
