Minolta cf 2002 error c-0400

There is a church that has the cf 2002 that was giving the dreaded c-3c50 error. After reading through the posts i see that an electrolytic capacitor soldered onto the c board was the fix. I removed the pwb-c, soldered the capacitor, and fired up the machine. NOW i get the dreaded c-0400 telling me the lamp doesn't power on. I checked all my little cable connections to makes sure i didn't miss one. especially the ribbon connecting the c-board to the b-board. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds and then turn the power switch off while continuing to press the reset button. Continue in this holding pattern for another 5 seconds and then release the reset button. After that turn the power switch on and the code should reset.
P.S This procedure applies to all Kyocera (Minolta) color copiers.
